Dog Friendly Bars in Las VegasNevada is known for its desert heat, the strip and plentiful pools. Las Vegas is a popular vacation spot and if you plan on high-tailing it with your pooch to test your hand with lady luck and enjoy everything Nevada has to offer, you can high-tail it to these dog friendly bars in-between poker games.

1. Crown & Anchor Pub – 1350 E. Tropicana Ave., Las Vegas (map), 702-739-8676

The Crown & Anchor is an authentic British pub in Vegas, dishing out traditional favorites like fish and chips and bangers and mash 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Serving 30 draught beers from around the world, this pub is a must visit for any fan of soccer or English food. Dogs are allowed on the pub’s outdoor patio.

2. The Brentwood Cafe and Tavern– 7325 W. Warm Springs Road, Las Vegas (map), 702-656-3000

Located away from the bright Las Vegas strip, the Brentwood Cafe and Tavern is for those looking to dine on traditional American food while grabbing a beer. Boasting delicious burgers, plenty of beer and even breakfast, this bar is great at all hours of the day or night.

Marina B. on Yelp! had this to say about the Brentwood Cafe and Tavern: “ I really like that you can take your dogs here and eat on the patio. The first time we went here, they brought out a couple doggy biscuits for a Pug.”

The Brentwood Cafe and Tavern is open 24 hours a day.

3. Sierra Taphouse– 253 W. 1st St., Reno (map), 775-322-7678

The Sierra Taphouse lies in the heart of Downtown Reno in the beautiful River Walk District. Dogs are allowed on the outdoor patio, which has a view of the Truckee River. The Sierra Taphouse features a rotating selection of 11 draft beers from the Sierra Nevada Brewery.

Cheryl M. on Yelp! had this to say about the bar: “I love the fact that the place is super dog friendly.  I was disappointed with the person who gave a poor review saying the bartender had toweled a dog off who had obviously come in from the river.  Not only is that customer service, now the dog won’t shake water all over the other patrons.”

The Sierra Taphouse is open from 3 p.m. to 12 a.m. Monday through Friday and weekends from 12 p.m. to 12 a.m.

4. Boulder Dam Brewing Co. – 453 Nevada Way, Boulder City (map), 702-243-2739

Featured in our guide of dog-friendly Nevada restaurants, the Boulder Dam Brewing Co. in Boulder City brews all natural beers with no additives or preservatives. According to their website, their handcrafted beers rotate, with up to six different styles at a time, and they have brewed more than 40 styles in the past. Aside from their original beers, the Brewing Co. also offers a variety of food. Dogs are welcome in the beer garden, which is misted and shaded. Open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday; 11 a.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday.

5. Sunset & Vines– 40 Costa Di Lago, Henderson (map), 407-601-7848

Located on the shores of Lake Las Vegas in the Mediterranean-themed MonteLago Village at the Lake Las Vegas Resort, Sunset & Vines is for those in the mood for fine wine and food. Offering more than 60 fine wines and with a selection of steaks and seafood, Sunset & Vines is perfect for vino lovers in the Lake Las Vegas area.

Dogs are allowed on the patio, as long as they don’t disturb the other patrons. Sunset & Vines is open Mondays from 5 p.m to 9 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday 12 p.m. to 9 p.m., Fridays from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturdays 12 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
